Prasert Patramai

Dr. Prasert Patramai is currently the Chairman of the Board of Directors of TEAM Group of Companies which includes TEAM Consulting Engineering and Management Co., Ltd., and 18 affiliated firms, providing integrated consulting services and related businesses in the ASEAN region.

He oversees the overall management and provides comprehensive consulting services for survey, study, design, construction supervision and management as well as project management in all sectors such as water resources, flood protection, transportation, environment, urban planning, utilities system, energy, information technology, social management, public relations and public participation.

The Team Group has entered into a technical cooperation agreement with the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT), a regional leader in the electricity supply sector, to exchange academic and professional experience.

Dr. Patramai has collaborated with various leading educational institutions in order to boost multinational human resource capacity and promote research and innovation development. This will help to create business opportunities in the ASEAN market. He has entered into a technical cooperation agreement with the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), to exchange and present research, engineering advancements and innovations.

In 1978, TEAM Consulting Engineering and Management Co., Ltd. (initially named TEAM Consulting Engineers Co., Ltd.) was established as a dream of a group of Thai engineers, mostly AIT graduates. He has also complimented AIT stating that AIT graduates are always the first choice for his group of companies. While delivering the graduation address at the 113th AIT Graduation he remarked, “I am always enthused at the competency of AIT graduates and am very proud to say that my TEAM Group has more than 50 AIT graduates”.

Dr. Patramai was instrumental in donating 1 million Baht for the modernization of the library. A total of 3 million baht was donated by the TEAM Group and its executives.
